Blender's Notes: A high energy blend of Yerba Mate, Ginseng, Noni, Reishi Mushrooms, combined with a citrus blend of Hops, Lemon Balm and Lemon Peel.

EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION:

Yerba Mate: From the dried leaves of an evergreen Holly, Ilex paraguariensis  (a native plant of South America) and contains beneficial phytonutrients such as chlorophyll, flavonoids and trace minerals.

Lemon Balm: This mood-elevating herbal allay contains flavonoids and phenolic acids that can help fight viruses.

Ginger: The tasty has a very long history of use in various forms of traditional/alternative medicine. It has been used to help digestion, reduce nausea and help fight the flu and common cold, to name a few.

Lemon Peel: This citrus favorite is rich in Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin C and polyphenol flavonoids. Polyphenols have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties, and may protect from oxidative stress and some diseases. Polyphenols are divided into several groups, one of which is represented by flavonoids.  Plants produce flavonoids as a protection against parasites, oxidative injury and harsh climatic conditions.

Ginseng: Has been shown to benefit mental functions, feelings of calmness, and mood elevation in both healthy people and those with Alzheimer's disease.

Reishi Mushrooms: Have historically been utilized as a qi tonic in Traditional Chinese Medicine, earning the name “mushroom of immortality”.

Ginko Biloba: Contains potent antioxidants, which fight the damaging effects of free radicals and likely behind most of its health claims.

Noni: Is packed with antioxidants, including iridoids, that may provide numerous health benefits. Grown on Maui.

Pink Peppercorns Rich in a potent antioxidant called piperine, which may help prevent free radical damage to cells. Also help the body secrete more hydrochloric acid, which is necessary for digesting proteins and other food components.

Schizandra: Research surrounding Schisandra is fairly conclusive that it is a powerful anti-anxiety herb, in addition to its ability to elevate mood through lowering stress levels and enhancing mental performance. 

Ashwagandha: Has been shown to promote healthy levels of cortisol and the healthy inflammatory processes that are stimulated in the response to stress.

Astralagus: root has been traditionally used for the treatment of common cold.
